Do your weekdays feel like an endless rush of work, commuting, cooking, cleaning, and shuttling the kids to practices and play dates? Are weekends just more of the same, spending your mornings at school sporting events, your afternoons running errands, your evenings paying bills and doing chores?

If you face every Monday morning stressed out and dreading another five days of grind, there’s more at state than just your sanity. A Finnish study, recently published in the journal, “Psychosomatic Medicine,” found that men and women who said they fail to recover from the stress of their workweek were three times more likely to die of heart disease or stroke.

For many couples, a weekend at a Bed & Breakfast is the answer. While longer vacations that may be jam-packed with activities, airline delays and other travel stressors can leave you needing a second vacation to recover, Bed & Breakfasts are often close to home, but miles from everyday life.
